The 2011 8th Annual Thai Culture and Food Festival at Federation Square on 20 March 2011 was a great success with a record attendance of 63,000 visitors!!  
In addition to the fabulous choice of mouth watering Thai food; amazing cultural shows, Thai product stalls, Thai Massage, Tourism and Buddhism and the traditional Thai Beauty contest and Drum Parades the 2011 Festival  at Melbourne's Federation Square  featured:
  • A special celebration and exhibition on the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesy the King's 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary, 5th December 2011 
  • Live performances by over 50 Thai performers direct from Thailand
  • Muay Thai Kick Boxing demonstrations on stage ** Sorry - Kick Boxing cancelled this year as at 4 March 2011  owing to Fed Square restrictions **
  • Huge SINGHA Beer Garden - featuring great Singha beer and live music;
  • Interactive Thai Cooking demonstrations throughout the day
  • Thai massage and product stalls, with over 20 of the best Thai Restuarants serving mouth-watering Thai food and drinks 
  •      NEW in 2011- Live cultural shows and more on stage at BMW Edge
