The 2011 8th Annual Thai Culture and Food Festival at Federation Square on 20 March 2011 was a great success with a record attendance of 63,000 visitors!! In addition to the fabulous choice of mouth watering Thai food; amazing cultural shows, Thai product stalls, Thai Massage, Tourism and Buddhism and the traditional Thai Beauty contest and Drum Parades the 2011 Festival at Melbourne's Federation Square featured: A special celebration and exhibition on the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesy the King's 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary, 5th December 2011 Live performances by over 50 Thai performers direct from Thailand Muay Thai Kick Boxing demonstrations on stage ** Sorry - Kick Boxing cancelled this year as at 4 March 2011 owing to Fed Square restrictions ** Huge SINGHA Beer Garden - featuring great Singha beer and live music; Interactive Thai Cooking demonstrations throughout the day Thai massage and product stalls, with over 20 of the best Thai Restuarants serving mouth-watering Thai food and drinks - NEW in 2011- Live cultural shows and more on stage at BMW Edge
